GVN Foundation Grants - December 2011

The GVN Foundation has recently made the following grants:
Huchuy Yachaq
An Eat So They Can Grant of $1,892.98 was sent to Huchuy Yachaq in Peru. This grant will be used towards a women’s empowerment project, which is teaching mothers from a community near Cusco how to make jewellery.
The Real Uganda
An Eat So They Can Grant of $5,000 was sent to The Real Uganda. This grant will be used towards supporting a microfinance and cow project at YOFAFO in Uganda.
Africaid
An Eat So They Can grant of $1,159.20 was made to AfricAid. This grant will be used to support a lunch program at Losinoni school in Tanzania. This grant will provide lunch for 750 students for over 9 weeks - that’s more than 34,000 lunches!
