Romania Volunteer Projects

The Global Volunteer Network has volunteer opportunities available early next year through our partner organization in Romania. Volunteers have the opportunity to join a Christian Mission which cares for disabled orphans. There are four group homes, and volunteers will work with orphans aged from ten year old children to young adults. The children have suffered so much at a young age, but with your help they will see a brighter future.
Clair O’Hara writes about her experience in Romania:
“The 7 1/2 months I spent at the Tanner Romania Mission have been have been life changing! The kids are beyond amazing. Spending time with them was a fantastic experience. We worked on projects in the workshop, took walks through the village, had picnics in the forest, we organized a sports day so the whole gang could be together for some fun. TRM makes birthdays and holidays extra special for the kids too! I’ve already been back once and plan to go back again as soon as possible.”
