All life offset calculations are estimates based on current data.
We begin our calculations using the average annual carbon emissions of an adult based on your specified country of residence*. This figure has been multiplied by your life expectancy** and adjusted to assume lower emissions between the ages 0 to 18 years and 66 to life expectancy age.
Once we know your country benchmark, we populate the result of your carbon questionnaire in a carbon calculator to find out where your emissions sit in relation to your country average and adjust this figure accordingly.
We aim to provide you with a one-page summary document detailing our assessment of your carbon footprint and life-offset price within 48 hours of completing the questionnaire form.
