Why 15776 volunteers have chosen GVN over the past 9 years:
“I was able to give back to those who need it most”
“GVN offers quality placements that are authentic and affordable”
“I enjoyed meeting like minded people from all over the world”
“I discovered my next steps in life and learnt a range of new skills”
“It was great to travel outside of the USA and be in a place where I was really valued”
"Volunteering was magical on so many levels. The partner is inspiring, well organised, passionate and a privilege to be aligned with. The opportunities available to impact directly on the lives of those in need are incredibly special, and the rewards are felt by the children, their communities and the volunteers themselves."
Rebecca Ramsay - Nepal Volunteer
The Global Volunteer Network (GVN) offers volunteer service opportunities in community projects around the world. We currently provide volunteer programs through our partner organizations in 21 countries throughout South America, Africa and Asia.
Our vision is to support the work of local community organizations in developing countries through the placement of international volunteers. We believe that local communities are in the best position to determine their needs, and we provide volunteers to help them achieve their goals.
Over the past 9 years we've built up strong ties with grassroots organizations throughout the world, and placed 15,500 volunteers. At GVN we align with the idea of 'local solutions to local problems', so we continue to work with local community organizations in each country. We provide a wealth of experience, resources and dedication to both our volunteers and our partners.
"I'd love to see more young people taking action to help the poor and disadvantaged. Two places to get started are Network for Good and Global Volunteer Network."
